Since 1994, when wild-caught specimens of Crocodile Skinks Tribolonotus spp. (Dumeril and Babron 1839) became available to the herpetological world, these unique, strange and fascinating small skinks have attracted a dedicated following. Yet even today however, much still remains to be discovered about them, and many people are unaware of their existence. Two species of Crocodile Skink have become widely-kept, of which Tribolonotus gracilis  (De Rooij, 1909)  is currently the most popular and easily-obtainable. The other species, Tribolonotus novaeguineae (Schlegel, 1834), recognisable at a glance by its stockier appearance, is scarcer in collections at present.

My aim with this website "FULLY CONCENTRATING ON TRIBOLONOTUS" is to help people understand more about these amazing creatures, and I hope you will end up becoming as keen on Crocodile Skinks as I am!
